Meet Dot from Cambodia! As a good mother of three single children, Dot resides in Baray district of Kompong Tom Province. Most of her income is generated from agricultural businesses including rice farming, poultry-raising and pig husbandry. Dot built a wooden pigpen in her back yard in order to raise piglets. For additional income, she devotes her spare time to distilling Khmer traditional white wine made of rice, selling it to local people in her commune. With the loan she is requesting, she will buy 15 piglets to further improve her business. With the rest of the money, she will buy sacks of fertilizers to enhance crop productivity. One day, Dot hopes to lift her family out of poverty and achieve a higher standard of living. Go Dot!
