Kulbara is a 52 year old from Namatbek village, Kyrgyzstan, and she is married with four children. She graduated from a university with a Kyrgyz-language and literature teaching degree and currently works as an assistant director of the school in the Namatbek village. Kulbara has been involved in animal husbandry and farming since 1994, having started her business with an initial sum of 20,000 som (KGS). Currently, her business yields about 11,000 som (KGS) per month from milk product sales. Kulbara also works on 4.40 hectares of irrigated land, where she grows potatoes, beans and apples. In order to further develop her business, Kulbara requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the “Bai-Tushum and Partners” company to buy bulls for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into expanding her business.
